With the new RedUnit XRL260, Vogelsang offers a solution that can be optimally adjusted to any reduction process thanks to its well thought-out product features. These characteristics make them an ideal grinder in industrial applications such as in the meat, fish and food industries, in the recycling industry and in biogas plants.
Completely new maintenance concept
Vogelsang's new RedUnit XRL260 is a powerful two-shaft grinder. Driven by a gear motor per shaft with up to 37 kW, a throughput of approx. 100 t/h can be achieved. They also allow the rotors to run at different speeds or even in opposite directions in order to individually adjust the grinding process to the medium.
For maintenance, Vogelsang has developed a completely new service concept that is convincing in every detail.
The ripper rotors can be easily removed and replaced with the help of an assembly tool thanks to the laterally opening maintenance flaps. Supply and discharge systems do not have to be dismantled for this process and remain unaffected. This means that the exchange can be carried out by just one person.
Foreign bodies in the input material that are blocking the process can be removed from the RedUnit in the same way without having to laboriously empty the hopper.
