There are countless applications in which materials need to be ground down for the next process step. The optimal grinding solution depends on the nature of these materials and the required end result. Are the solids hard or soft? Are they dry, damp, wet, or very tough?
The RedUnit XRL260 from Vogelsang is a powerful twin-shaft shredder. Driven by a gear motor with up to 37 kW per shaft, it can achieve a throughput of approx. 100 t/h. The motors also allow the shafts to run at different speeds or even in opposite directions in order to tailor the shredding process to the specific medium.
